Earning the status of “timeless” is quite difficult. With years of expert creations and quality craftsmanship, Lillian August has definitely proven herself as a timeless designer.
In the early 1980s, Lillian August launched a business selling crafts and patchwork quilts. After showing her designs at New York’s annual bed and bath industry show, she was hired to design a line of wallpapers with an American Country look. After building a successful business of home textiles and wall coverings, she opened her first storefront in Westport, Connecticut in 1987 with her family.
Since then, Lillian August has grown a reputation of innovation among designers and consumers around the globe. In 2008, Lillian partnered with Hickory White which allowed the brands incredible designs to be enjoyed by people throughout the world.
