Fall is in full swing. Heck, winter’s almost here! Our award-winning Milwaukee interior designers recently attended the Fall High Point Market in North Carolina. While there, we met with with our vendors to watch presentations and learn about the season’s latest trends and new products.
One of our favorite showrooms this season was that of the Hickory White and Lillian August collaboration. Lillian is known for her expressive designs that blend periods and styles to tell stories within your home.
The opening presentation in the Hickory White/Lillian August showroom was inspired by the color palette of fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli. She was a part of the Paris artistic community and collaborated with many other artists to create one-of-a-kind designs of clothing, fabric, and jewelry. Blacks, pinks, purples, and greys were mainstay colors for her designs, with accents of animal skin patterns.
Like Schiaparelli, Lillian takes cues from fashion trends to create unique furniture items. The Glamorous Color palette brings together luxurious textures and regal tones. Lillian has recreated this fashion magic with vibrant hot pink, flamingo, rouge, and aubergine in velvets and chenilles.
Our team of award-winning Milwaukee interior designers was thrilled to learn about Lillian’s newest offerings, and can’t wait to show our clients – we’re sure you’ll love them!
