Radiant Orchid, the 2014 Pantone Color of the Year, has made quite the impact, even in small amounts. Although 2014 is coming to a close, we’re still in love with this color!

Since this exciting color was announced by Pantone as their 2014 color of the year, we at Century have been asking how this color will infuse itself into our décor. Many of us find ourselves with commitment issues given the vividness of this hue, and so for my friends with a commitment phobia my answer is: moderation is the key. The same way one truffle is powerful or a hint of cayenne makes a dish, decorating with Radiant Orchid follows the same guidelines. When it comes to this hue accent pieces such as occasional chairs or accessories are the key. You don’t have to commit when a little dab will do!
