Featured Piece: A Buffet of Buffets

One of the qualities many people look for in a new furniture item for their home is versatility. A piece which generally offers a great deal of versatility is a buffet (or credenza, chest, etc.). These multi-functional storage pieces work well in a variety of rooms and are especially perfect for those who love to entertain.

Our award-winning Milwaukee interior designers are excited at the return of a well-loved buffet from Thayer Coggin. For people who adore the clean lines of modern and midcentury modern design, you’ll want to visit Warren Barnett Interiors today to learn more!

Thayer Coggin has officially brought back an American mid-century home furnishings icon: the Milo Baughman buffet/sideboard (pictured below). With its acrylic sides, stainless steel accents and clean minimalist lines, this buffet changed American dining areas forever in the 1960s. The 2016 remix features the original dimensions and solid maple wood construction, but added a select set of classic lacquer colors for today’s dining: white, grey and ebony.

Also new for 2016 is the Mable Maple buffet (pictured at top), featuring reverse diamond quarter figured maple paneling with a polished stainless steel base.
