Featured Piece: Roxy Would by Milo Baughman

Modern and midcentury modern furniture have been at the forefront of interior design trends for the last several years. With their sleek lines, tailored appearance, and unique styles, it’s no wonder people are huge fans. Thayer Coggin has been manufacturing pieces of the highest quality since 1953, continuing to deliver swoon-worthy modern seating and dining.

We’d like to take a moment to highlight a specific Thayer Coggin piece, the Roxy Would Swivel-Tilt Tub Chair.

Originally designed in 1965 by Milo Baughman, the Roxy Would swivel-tilt tub chair is a modern icon. With a base available in walnut or maple wood, button tufting, and Thayer Coggin’s unique swivel-tilt mechanism, Roxy Would is a timeless lounge chair for all surroundings.

With hundreds of in-house curated fabrics and leathers, it’s simple to customize and make this piece your own. If you’d rather supply your own upholstery fabric, we can accommodate that, as well! The walnut or maple wood base can be adorned in several wood finishes for the perfect complement.

The Roxy Would is an extension to Thayer Coggin’s existing (very popular) Roxy line of swivel-tilt chairs, including the Roxy-O with a metal base, the Roxy with an upholstered base, and the Roxy Coat-On with a metal wrap.

Our showroom in Brookfield is home to a variety of Thayer Coggin pieces, and our award-winning designers are always on-hand to help you discover their entire line of offerings. Visit us today to customize your own Roxy Would swivel-tilt tub chair!
